Essential Water May Think (2007) UMB021 Wet Shoelaces started out as a duo project, and, despite many recordings featuring our "extended family", we essentially remain a duo project. Ever since the beginning, we have always augmented our basic sound through the use of extensive overdubbing. This project was born of the question: can we create music that consists entirely of duets, just one track of Allen and one track of Steve, while still
achieving our signature sound? Can we, using extended techniques, technology, and creativity, sound like a full band with just two of us? Can we make a disc that would, in theory, be playable live by just the two of us? Well, yes, we apparently can. |
