Dark Angel Variations (2010)

The second volume in our Anniversary series consists of two parts. The first part of the disc represents a return to our earliest, most primitive styles. Our first three discs constitute a trilogy nicknamed "The Dark Angel" by our frequent collaborator E Aubrey Andrews, and part one of this disc is a tribute to that era. Most of the tunes are new, but there are a couple of remixes of tunes that originally appeared in the original Dark Angel Trilogy.

Part two of this disc is also in the intuitive, crazy style of our earliest music, but also features a lot more digitized sophistication for your listening pleasure. It simultaneously represents our past, as well as the direction we find ourselves going in lately: something a bit more ambient and flowing, though still (perhaps even more) bizarre and abstract.
